History

Tipro Baltic, Ltd. was established in 1999.
 

The production in Latvia was formed by shifting Tipro Tynnplater AS production from Trondheim (Norway) to Olaine (Latvia). Having established Tipro Baltic, Ltd. all production equipment was brought from Norway to Latvia and installed in this country.
Tipro Baltic, Ltd. is located in the territory of Nordic Industrial Park (Olaine). It started to manufacture products in November 2000.
Tipro Tynnplater was formed in 1918 al has been known for decades on the market as Norwegian NOBO. The company was one of the largest metalworkers and manufacturers of metal heating radiators in its region. In 1991 Tipro group reorganized its enterprise which resulted in the formation of two independent productions – metal heating systems production Tipro NOVO AS and metalworking production Tipro Tynnplater AS.

Any attempts to reduce operation costs and optimize logistics made Tipro Tynnplater owners to transfer the production in Eastern Europe. All operations related to the enterprise shifting to Latvia were made in 2002 and 2001
